How we work

Expand your survey limits

Shatter the traditional tradeoffs between quality, speed, safety, and investment with replicable UAS LiDAR and orthophoto workflows — delivered with QC you can trust.

Division of labor

You establish control. We handle the rest.

You set control and check points; we plan and fly the mission, process the data, perform QA against known check shots, and hand off deliverables that fit your workflow.

Precision collection

Industrial UAS with RTK and PPK corrections capture data with centimeter-level precision, using a local RTK network to a base on a surveyed project point.

Seven-parameter localization

No rubber-sheeting. We request coordinate pairs in geodetic (lat/lon/ellipsoid height) and local (NEh) systems, then compute the transformation and residuals before data collection.

Multi-return LiDAR

Ponderosa pine, aspen groves, or a sea of sage — recording multiple returns per pulse gives more chances to reach bare earth.

Engagement

A simple, repeatable process

  1. Define the mapping area of interest
  2. Select a TopoMatters mapping package
  3. Identify any unique specifications
  4. Assess feasibility, safety, and flight restrictions
  5. Final quote and agreement
  6. Reconfirm flight restrictions, schedule the mission, and collect data
  7. Data post-processing and deliverables
  8. Project data review and CAD or GIS finishing

From bid to site arrival

No surprises on your project

Every project starts with a TopoMissions site evaluation. You see feasibility, safety, and flight restrictions before you commit, and you stay covered as restrictions change until the aircraft is on site.

TOPOMISSIONSSite Intelligence

  • You know it can be done

Before you sign, you know whether your project can be collected with the right aircraft and sensor in the conditions your site brings. You find out at the bid, not on arrival.

  • Safety is planned in

Site safety is evaluated up front, so your plan accounts for it from the start.

  • Flight restrictions stay current

Restrictions change. They are tracked from the day of the bid until arrival on site, so your flight plan still holds when it is time to fly.

  • Your scope is based on facts

What the evaluation finds shapes your scope, schedule, and quote, so you are not surprised later, and neither are we.
